In Tour de Force , a Contact typically represents an individual person in a company or business that purchases product or services from another organization. Contacts can also be other people that have an influence in the sales cycle and other business decisions. Contacts may be employees of another company such as an outside consultant, a lawyer, a VAR, an accountant, or a technician

Quick Acces to Views & Actions from within Microsoft Outlook

Quick Access to Information from within Outlook
When working within Tour de Force users are provided with a multitude ways to access information regarding the contacts they deal with on a daily basis.

Quickly View all linked items related to the contact
If you receive an email from a contact and need to quickly access historical information about the contact you are able to use the "View" within the Tour de Force toolbar in Outlook, which will quickly launch a view called the "Quick View" to see historical information related to that contact. Once the "Quick View" is launched you are then able to see all other information related to that contact such as opportunities, emails, tasks, activities, and etc.

Generate Next Action step directly from Outlook
In addition to being able to view history you have the ability to generate next "Action" step within the Tour de Force toolbar, which will also quickly launch a view called "Quick View" to see next "Action" step options such as create new account, new appointment, new contact, new email, new opportunity, new task and etc.

Open Contact Record directly from Outlook
You are also able open the contact record directly by using the "Open Contact" icon directly on the Tour de Force toolbar from within Outlook. Giving you access to all your quick views as if they were launched through your Inbox to see the same information regarding your contact.

Configurable Profile Tabs
In addition to key contact information you have the ability to profile contact record within Tour de Force. The profile of every contact with every customer that uses Tour de Force is uniquely different. The profile tabs can be competently configured based on your specific business needs with an UNLIMITED amount of user defined fields.

Access Microsoft Word Templates Quickly
You also have access to all Word template within Tour de Force that are published and made available for contacts to quickly create common communication using Microsoft Word.

Contact Record

If you would like to view information related to the parent account of the contact, you can view it through the Tour de Force header by opening up the parent account record in viewing information on the overall account.

In addition to being able to access a contact from within your Outlook Inbox you can also access contact records once again using Global Search. Global search populates with all contacts and/or accounts that match that criteria.

The Contact Record within Tour de Force provides global quick and easy access to all information related to a contact record within the system.
