Tour de Force Hardware & Software Requirements

The Minimum and Recommended requirements for all servers and client workstations are general specifications only. The overall speed and performance of the Tour de Force software application will be directly proportionate to the speed and performance of the network backbone, the servers and the client workstations. A Tour de Force Environment Consultant will perform a thorough review of client and server hardware as well as the network environment before a project begins in order to attempt to identify any potential bottlenecks that may impact the overall speed and performance of the Tour de Force application.

TDF Mobile

Anyone who has user license to TDF, will have a license to use TdF Mobile.

Web Server Requirements:

 

  • Hosted on any b ox, IIS web server version 6 or 7 – Stand alone application, must have a public facing IP address, and needs to be in its own IIS web application and cannot be shared in the same program space as another application.
  • Must have read/write access to TDF database
  • Cellular network or PDA Wireless network
  • Separate user account to access SQL to TDF
  • Web Browser (most)

Software Requirements

Note: If using Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, use Microsoft Office XP (2002) Service Pack 1 or Office 2003 for Tour de Force to work correctly.
